The Beaufor Gold West property (100% interest) is located 35 km northeast of Val d'Or, Quebec, and adjacent to the Beaufor Mine, a producing gold mine operated by Richmont Mines (TSX: RIC). The property consists of three contiguous mining claims well located covering 78 hectares and is limited by the properties held by Richmont Mines. The Beaufor, Perron and Pascalis Mines, known collectively as the "Beaufor Mine" belong to the same gold-bearing hydrothermal systems. The total production for the Beaufor Mine is more than 1,000,000 ounces Au (including production of Perron and Pascalis former mines - RIC - Press Release March 23, 2010). The extension of the Beaufor Mine at depth represents a high quality target on this strategic property.

The Beaufor North property (100% interest) is located near Pascalis, approximately 35 km east of Val d'Or. It includes three contiguous mining titles covering a surface area of 163 hectares adjacent to the north-eastern part of the Beaufor Mine. The western border of the property is also located approximately 500 meters from the Résénor gold deposit with a historical resources of 181,00 tonnes at 8.6 g/t Au (MRNF - GM 41895 - not compliant with 43-101 disclosure standards and this estimate has not been reviewed by Adventure Gold). In the past, very little exploration work has been performed on this property.

2008 Exploration:
Adventure Gold undertook a 3,000m drill program in the spring of 2008 and announced significant gold values in the extension of the Beaufor Mine.

The 426m spring drill program on the Beaufor North property led to the discovery of a new gold structure. The discovery hole (BN-08-01), located 1 kilometre north of the Beaufor Mine and 400m southeast of the 100%-owned Resenor Gold deposit (Senore property), successfully intersected two previously unexplored gold structures returning values of 35.8 g/t over 0.5m and 6.6 g/t over 0.9m respectively (core length).

The 729m spring drill program on the Beaufor West property successfully intersected five gold-bearing structures of which two yielded values of 7.5 g/t Au over 1.1m and 9.6 g/t Au over 0.5m (core length). The hole is located near the north-east corner of the Beaufor West property and intersected the south-western lateral extension of the upper part of the mine, approximately 300m from the underground developments.

History:
From 1931 to 1997, exploration programs on the Beaufor West property included mechanical trenching, geological cartography, till sampling and drill campaigns totalling more than 7,000 meters. Near surface shallow drilling intersected 9.4 g/t Au over 1m (hole N-12) and 4.8 g/t Au over 1.4m (hole N-15) (core length). The high-grade, gold-bearing vein system of the Beaufor Mine has been identified approximately 300 meters from the Beaufor West property. Very little historical work has been completed on the Beaufor North property.
